Fender Precision Bass 1971 Sunburst with original case

A 100% original Fender Precision from 1971 in excellent condition. The pots, pick-ups and serial number all date it to 1971. Has the original tortoise shell pick guard which has shrunk slightly due to age, which is what you would expect. The body is very good with just some minor playwear evident. Nice bright sunburst with very little fading. The truss rods turns smoothly, volume and tones pots operate quietly and plenty of great Precision tone from the pick-ups. The tone is particularly good and not easy to replicate from modern instruments. It's been well set up and ready to play.

Very lightweight too, at 8.2lbs.

It has the original case supplied new by the UK dealer, which are identical to the Fender ones but I believe were manufactured in this country to keep freight costs down, and weren't badged Fender.
