SOLD - SIMILAR INSTRUMENTS AVAILABLE Fender HM Bass circa 1989 USA with hard case I didn't know these basses existed until I found this one. I've always liked the HM Strats and I'm equally impressed with the bass version. These Fender HM basses were made mainly in Japan in the late eighties for a few years only and are hard to come by now. A few were made in the USA and are rarer still. This example is USA made. Really nice "eighties" red finish with black fleck, this bass is in excellent almost mint condition and has been well cared for from new. |

The neck is dated August 1989, the headstock indicates 1990 as the year of manufacture. Features 3 pick-ups and a Strat style 5-position switch with a single volume and tone control. It has a very nice slim "Jazz" type neck with a rosewood fretboard which is very fast and comfortable to play. Comes with a non-original hard case.
