Westone Super Headless Bass, excellent, with original hard case

There are a number of important points I look for when deciding if an instrument is "right" for Classic and Cool Guitars - originality, condition, playability and maybe some extra features which just makes it stand out above other second-hand instruments.

This bass ticks all these boxes. It was bought new in 1985 by its one and only owner, has the original Westone hard case with all adjustment tools and is in great condition.

It's all original and plays really well, with a nice low action and a great range of sounds/tones from the electrics which can be run in active or passive modes - both sound great. It use standard strings as well.

Features a 24 fret one piece, 34-inch scale neck - slim and comfortable, and a unique body cutout design to make slap playing easier. Its finished in a lovely high gloss walnut lacquer. It has a few small marks and scratches and some buckle rash, but nothing bad - more photos available on request.

It was made in the Matsumoku factory in Japan, now regarded as producing some of the finest instruments ever made.

In short, it's a great playing instrument, very useable and different, and a future collectible.
