USA Fender Precision Bass 1983 with Fender tweed case

These single ply pickguard Precisions were some of the last to be made at the Fullerton plant shortly before CBS sold Fender, and in my opinion they're great basses.

The necks are quite wide at the nut, but slim width-wise and very fast and comfortable to play. They also had great features like the bi-flex truss-rod (moves it positively in both directions) and also the micro-tilt system, which was a much easier and accurate way to adjust the neck angle (No shims needed) and the white pick-ups just looked right with this bass, too.

This particular example is in excellent, almost mint condition. The pickguard colour has mellowed to a lovely cream colour and the bass looks extremely cool.

Nicely set-up, sounds great and comes in a luxury Fender tweed case.
