Ibanez Studio ST824 Bass 1980 with hard case

This is a Japanese made Ibanez Studio ST 824 bass from 1980 in good condition. The quality of these era Ibanez's are now recognised to be extremely high and just so much better than you would expect, and perfectly comparable with modern, far more expensive instruments. Professional quality throughout.

This example is very original with a lovely neck, good frets and is great to play. Overall it looks in very good condition, but around the edges it has lost areas of lacquer and also on the back a small piece of wood (See pictures) These would be pretty easy to fix with a small amount of filler and vintage tint lacquer if you wanted.

It's still a lovely bass, and would make a great gigging instrument (quite heavy though!)
