This is a lovely vintage bass, totally looks the part, and plays as good as it looks.

It’s a 1983/84 Made in Japan Fender Squier SQ Precision. These basses followed on from the JV series, and kept the quality high with many people at the time preferring them to the USA made Fender’s.

Quality doesn’t change over time, so high quality then = high quality now. The only difference is this bass is now 40 years old, vintage, collectable, a good investment AND a perfect every day gigging bass, for less than a new Mexican made one.

Look at the grain on it! I believe it’s Sen Ash, a 2 piece body, finished in still bright and vivid sunburst, matched with a dark rosewood fretboard – it’s eye-catching alright.

Just been serviced and set up. The pickups have been changed to Seymour Duncans.

Has a few dings and donks around the edges but still in great condition.

Has a great deep, resonant vintage tone.

Comes with a very tatty gig bag…..
