Now this IS a rare bass – a 1988 Clover Slapper Classic built in Germany. The company that built it also makes pick ups for Sandberg (and others) named “Delano”
Ultra high quality, vintage and rare!
The specification is extremely high end – Carbon Fibre neck thru construction, Bartolini pick ups, 2 band active controls (Bass and treble with centre indents) volume and blend, made from Zebrano wood, ebony fretboard, brass bridge and schaller tuners.
It really has an amazing piano like tone – every note rings out true and clear and has a slim, modern shaped neck which is lovely to play.
It’s in excellent condition, but does show signs of being used – a few marks here and there, and some cracks in the lacquer on top of the body (Definitely not structural, not particularly noticeable and nothing to be concerned about – purely because the finish is thick and lush) The LED light showing when it’s in active mode isn’t working.
Comes in period black tolex case
