The body is great, just starting to age nicely in places with a bit of a green hue around the edges of the guitar, which is how this colour goes with age. The fretboard dots have started to age too, along with the general colour of the neck, all big plus points to me.
However, it does have a few marks on it – a wear mark on one fret which could easily be dressed out (all the other frets are perfect) and some indentation on the rosewood board between the frets on the first positions, probably caused by someone’s finger nails. Not a problem, not really notable and doesn’t affect the guitar at all when playing, but I wanted to mention it anyway.
Other than that it’s absolutely lovely, pots and neck pocket date correctly, and of course it’s in a great colour which isn’t so easy to find.
It’s now 28 years old, so already vintage, and a perfect guitar to play and use, but also a guaranteed asset.
