2001 USA Fender AVRI ’62 Jazz Bass

This is a USA made Fender American Vintage Re-issue Jazz bass – basically it’s an accurate reproduction of a 1962 Jazz bass, with period correct features such as Nitro-cellulose finish, mutes, stack knobs and reverse tuners – it really is a lovely bass!

Although made in 2001 the bass is in excellent condition, with just a few minor marks stopping it from being mint (Nitro isn’t as hard wearing as the modern finishes, but it does mean the bass ages in rather beautiful, natural way)

It’s been very well looked after and cared for – very nicely set up with a low action and a very fast neck. It’s finished in Dakota Red which many people prefer over the more common Fiesta Red.

Comes with all the usual extras such as manuals, period lead and strap, black tolex Fender hard case, chrome covers, mutes (These fit into the holes near the bridge and stop the strings from resonating so much – popular back in the day)
