This bass is in mint condition, has just been set up, fitted with new strings and is as good as new.
This is the second Vintera I’ve had (the first was a 1950’s P) and they’re very impressive instruments, well made and finished, and great to play.
Fender have included plenty features from the 1970’s jazz, such as an ash body selected for its tight, straight grain and finished in an aged natural lacquer.
The neck has blocks and binding, is made from maple and has a slim, fast feel to it, as well as the bullet truss rod adjuster at the nut, a 7.252 radius and a Pau Ferro fretboard which I thought to start with was just a nice piece of well figured rosewood.
Looks really good!
