Lakland Bob Glaub ’64 Precision signature Bass with gig bag
Bob Glaub is a very well renowned session player with credits as long as my arm – google him if you have a spare 20 minutes – and was suitably well regarded for Lakland to make him his own signature model.
This is an extremely well constructed bass in sunburst, with mint green pickguard and rosewood neck, and looks very cool in an understated sort of way.
In these days of active basses with bass, treble, mid, frequency sweep etc it’s actually nice to play a bass with one volume and one tone – you can do all other adjustments on the amp, which is, I guess, why Precisions are still so popular today 60+ years since they first appeared.
