This is a brand new 2018 German made Sandberg California II bass finished in one of my favourites finishes – matt three tone sunburst. These matt natural finishes really show off the grain of the Ash to its best effect, and also feels as good as it looks. It has a lovely tactile feel to it which makes it a joy to play and own. I’ve tried to capture it in the photos. Ordered with the extra option of front facing dots on the fretboard.
This is a very versatile bass and has Sandberg’s active 2 eq system (Which can also used in passive)
It’s very easy to dial in the sound and tone you want without the hassle of trying to blend 3 eq’s – definitely a plus for gigging bass players.
This is a modern 21st Century take on a classic design – a Precision with added Jazz pick up. Lightweight and superb action and tone.
Comes complete with gig bag and tools.
