1980 Made in England Shergold Modulator guitar with the Module 5 recording module

The guitar is in great condition and is all original. Just 2 owners from new. It plays perfectly with no faults or issues.

The body has the usual Shergold “weather checking” cracks all over the body which is pretty standard on all Shergold’s. (Plenty of information online about this – apparently the problem was reduced after 1982)

This is a lovely vintage, collectors grade guitar which is rewarding to play as well.

The guitar is fitted with the Module 5 recording module, which is one of the more desirable modules – it was especially ordered from the factory like this. Three 3 ways switches, and 2 tone and 2 control knobs.

The switching system works like this:

1. Top 3 way switch acts like a normal 3 way- forward Neck pu, middle both, back is bridge.

2. Middle 3 way – Neck position = Splits the humbucker into single coil mode
Middle = Neck position Out of Phase
Bridge = Neck position humbucker Mode

3 ( Same as above but with the Bridge pickup).

Comes with a good, non original hard case
