SOLD: 1977 Fender Precision Fretless with fender hard case

1977 Fender Precision Fretless - SOLD

Pls take a look at this vintage Fender Fretless bass.
It’s a 1977 Fender Precision fretless bass with a rosewood fretboard and black body. It’s all original except for the pickguard.
The pots date to 1976, the pickups and neck date to 1977, all consistent with a genuine bass of this age. The brass pickup earth plates are still in place, the neck is perfectly adjusted and the truss rod works as it should.
The body has several weather checking lines on it (typical of this finish and age, and a desirable feature) and several marks on it, but overall very good. The finish is original.
It has the correct “F” neck plate with rubber bumper and the screws holding this in place show little evidence of being removed many times – a good sign.
The bridge is correct and I added a chrome cover from a 1971 Precision. The fretboard is very good, with very few marks from the strings (Fitted with flat wounds)
It comes with a later quality Fender hard case and a spare black pickguard.
