2007 Fender USA S1 Precision in 3-tone sunburst with a maple neck and fretboard – a great classic look.

These are the models in demand now, as production of the American Standard stopped in 2016, plus this one has the S1 switch too. (Reviews on the S1 switch are mixed, but it’s nice to have as an option, and as it’s operated by pushing the top of the volume knob, it’s not noticeable either)

This example is in excellent condition. Barely played – the frets are hardly marked, the hard case is superb, and the pickguard still had the plastic covering on it when I got it.

The truss rod turns smoothly, the action is set up as super low, and it’s a lovely bass to play.

Comes with the original hard case which must be worth £100+ plus on its own, all tags, stickers etc etc plus tools as well.

Although hardly used, it has picked up a ding on the front (no paint missing) and has neck pocket cracks (not very noticeable, purely cosmetic, and being on the black part of the body an easy fix)
