2017 Fender Flea Jazz Bass
I’ve had a few of the years and look out for them now, as I really rate them.
This is the best example I’ve had though.
It was made in 2017 so one of the earliest ones to arrive in the UK, and the pink colour is very subtle, perhaps faded a little from original over its 6 years?
Quite likely as the finish is nitro-cellulose. Anyway, the best colour I’ve had.
Great sound and fantastic playability. With each pick up having its own tone control, you can really blend in a great tone. The pickguard has a very matt finish and looks the part, along with the clay coloured front facing dots, and dark rosewood fretboard, plus convincing aging.
