I had one these before and was super-impressed with it, so jumped at the chance of taking this one in as a p/x when offered it.

It’s a MIM Fender 50’s Vintera Precision in Dakota Red (My camera doesn’t quite show the true colour, but it is definitely Dakota red) and has a lot of features you would expect from this era such as gold anodised pickguard, vintage tinted maple neck with vintage frets, 7.25 radius, so more curved than usual and reverse vintage style tuners.

This example is virtually as new, hardly played, still has the plastic film on the neck plate – one fault is a tiny chip in the paint in the neck pocket, which is common as you have to take the neck off to adjust the truss rod. Hardly noticeable though, and otherwise perfect.

Comes with a gig bag. (Or a new tweed hard case at cost price – £58)
