SOLD: NEW Limelight 00289 Precision Bass, Oly White over Sunburst

This is a brand new Precision bass made by Limelight in the UK.

It’s based on a 1963 Precision in custom colour Olympic White.

It’s finished in nitro-cellulose in Olympic White over Sunburst, the same as Fender did back in the day, when they messed up spraying the Sunburst – it meant the body could be re-used and not wasted.

This is not an easy finish to achieve and involves building up layers of paint and aging in way that looks authentic with touches of the Sunburst showing through.

It has a rosewood fretboard with clay dots and is Jazz width and a dark red tortoiseshell guard.
