Limelight 00144 ’76 Precision Bass.
This Limelight was made about 4 years ago and was one of my favourites then so I jumped at the chance to buy it back.
It’s finished in aged Olympic White which has “aged” to a lovely cream colour, and has a maple fretboard and tortoiseshell pickguard – a classic and ever popular combination.
The headstock has been tinted to a dark/medium brown as this is how many of the headstocks went on 1970’s Fender’s – it’s because Fender oversprayed the logo and headstock face in a different lacquer which tended to go this colour with age.
The bass is used but in lovely “as new” condition with a great set up.
