This is a brand new Precision bass made by Limelight in the UK.
It’s based on a 1963 Precision in custom colour black.
It’s finished in nitro-cellulose in black over a white undercoat, the same as Fender did back in the day.
This is not an easy finish to achieve and involves building up layers of paint and aging in way that looks authentic with touches of the white undercoat showing through.
It has a rosewood fretboard with clay dots and a dark red tortoiseshell guard.
