1982 Aria Pro II CS-400 Cardinal Guitar
1982 Aria Pro II CS-400 Cardinal Guitar made at the Matsumoku factory in Japan, is very high quality.
Basically it’s a double cut Les Paul type guitar, with a set neck, beautifully grained wood, in a bright sunburst.
Two humbuckers, with 2 x Volume and 2 x tone knobs, which can be used with the out of phase switch and/or coil tap, for some pretty versatile sounds. Usual 3-way pickup selector switch.
It plays beautifully, and has been set up with new string (Ernie Ball’s) Trussrod works as it should, and the guitar can be strung either thru body or just from the bridge.
It has picked up a few dings along the way, but nothing bad or very noticeable, and no cracks. The frets show some signs of use (first few only) but plays cleanly and still have loads of life in them.
A really lovely guitar.
