I’ve just taken this back in as a p/x against a new Sandberg. It came from me originally and has had one owner. Never gigged, light home use only, exactly as it left the factory.

This spec 48 now has a RRP of £2410…

Sandberg Forty Eight Bass in High Gloss Black with white stripes. Ordered with the extra options of matching headstock, stripes, soft core aged, ebony fretboard and pearloid block fret markers.

This is a very high specification bass ordered with all the best extra options!

The great thing is that it plays as good as it looks.

Nice weight (8.7lbs), good balance on a strap and of course a factory Plek’d fretboard.

The bass has 2 big Pick Ups which gives a good range of thumb positions when playing. You would think they are both Humbuckers, but the neck pick up is actually a Split-Coil, like a Precision.

The 2 – band EQ provides all the tonal options you’ll need, and the bass can also be run in passive mode.

Comes with a Sandberg gig bag and tools, just been fully serviced, set up and new D-addario strings fitted. No fret wear at all.
