This has just arrived with me from Germany, pretty special and pretty unique.

It’s a brand new Sandberg California II TT4 in High Gloss Black with several special features:

Matching headstock

Ebony fretboard with white pearl block markers

Gold hardware

Passive electrics (instead of the usual active) with Volume/blend/tone controls (This IMO is a better set up than the usual Jazz layout of Volume/volume/tone as you can still blend the pick ups to get that sweet spot Jazz tone, but has the advantage of just one volume for quick adjustment on the fly, which is much easier when playing live)

Also ordered with Black Label pickups. (These are Sandberg’s own design to give a punchier sound, initially developed with Ida Nielsen. They have 2 pole pieces per string as well)

Usual high quality German standards, with a factory plek’d neck, set up with a lovely low action, and comes with a gig bag, manual, certificate and tools.
