Here’s Sandberg’s version of the classic Fender PJ configuration – great scope for different tones with the pickup blend control, all easily enhanced with the 2-band active system.
It’s a Sandberg California II VT4 in Candy Apple Red in almost mint condition. It’s the latest California II model, so incredibly light for a PJ at 8.1lbs, and unlike some similar basses of this weight, it actually balances perfectly on a strap with no neck dive.
Controls are volume, blend, treble and bass boost/cut. Can also be quickly switched into passive mode by pulling up the volume knob.
Currently fitted with a black pickguard, it also comes with the original mint one as well, plus manual with certificate, tools and Sandberg gig bag. Plays perfectly and ready to go.
Ordered with front facing white fret board dots.
This is a pro quality instrument, Made in Germany, with a factory plek’d neck and usual Sandberg attention to detail, all for under a grand!
