Chowny CHB-1 Semi-Acoustic Bass

I’ve got this bass in, they’re great value for money and difficult to get hold of currently because the pandemic has interrupted production.

Anyway, it’s a really nice bass and fun to play.

The short scale (31″) means it’s quick and easy to run around the fingerboard and the 2 pickups give a good range of sounds. Definitely not a one trick pony and would be a good choice to gig with as it’s also very light.

Has some pretty impressive high spec features as well:

Maple Body with Flamed Maple Top

Maple neck with ebony fretboard inlaid with Pearloid crowns

Twin Artec Vintage Style Humbuckers

Chrome Fishtail Style

Ebony Floating Style Bridge

5 Layer Binding front and back

I think to get an ebony board WITH pearloid inlays and full binding around the body and neck is amazing at this price.

This bass has been used, only at home, but has a few extremely light marks, hardly visible and nothing bad.

I’ve done a truss rod adjustment on it, and as expected, it turned smoothly and works as it should.

A lovely bass, and would be a good addition to anyone’s collection. Comes with a gig bag.
