I was lucky enough to have this very lightly used Sandberg arrive into stock – super high specification, just my sort of bass!

It’s a Sandberg California II TT4 Passive in Translucent Black with vintage coloured maple neck and fretboard with pearl block markers.

The translucent black was a good choice as it shows off the swamp ash nicely, and looks different depending on the light.

Swamp Ash is an extra cost option (£164) but means the bass is especially resonant and also light in weight (7.7lbs) It also looks good.

It was ordered as a passive bass, so well worth considering by anybody thinking of going for a traditional Fender Jazz – Sandberg’s have a plek’d fretboard so play particularly well, and this bass has been set up with an ultra low action. It’s so fast and easy to play.

Also comes with the White pearl blocks (£215 extra cost option) which look really cool.

Today’s price for this is £1786 if ordered new, but this one will be £1095 on my website.

It comes with the manual, spec sheet and gig bag. Mint condition, absolutely “as new”
