SOLD: Yamaha TRB II Five String Japan-made bass

SOLD: Yamaha TRB II 5 String MIJ bass:

The TRB series are the basses of choice for many pro players and after playing this example it’s easy to see why. It’s a top quality instrument and has fantastic attention to detail with a superb build quality throughout.

It’s set up with an incredibly low action and the lovely slim neck and flat fingerboard makes this an easy 5 string to play. Great tone from the B string.

I’m not sure of the year on this one as Yamaha serial numbers are notoriously difficult to decipher, so if anyone can confirm please get in touch. This bass was made in Japan, probably in the mid 1990’s.

All in all, a pro quality bass, in excellent condition. This is the Mark II version which are generally regarded to be better than the Mark I’s as the actives are more balanced.

Comes with the owners manual and tools and original plastic insert detailing the control knob functions.

NB, the blue colour is shown lighter in these pictures than it actually is. In real life its several shades darker.
