Here’s a cool looking bass which you don’t see for sale very often. Sandberg have stopped making them now as well.

This bass is the signature model of Torsten Scholz, bass player with the Beatsteaks.

It’s been built to his specs and has several different features: the strings are “thru body” resulting in more pressure at the bridge for extra resonance, and the pick ups are 2 x DiMarzio DP123 Model Js bass pickups which have been placed in specific positions for a nicely balanced sound.

It’s a passive bass.

The bass has had Hard Core Aging, matching headstock, and features a fully plek’d maple neck with pearl block inlays. It’s finished in distinctive “letterbox yellow”
